This will save you one day.

Option 2: Shave off the last four nights of the itinerary. After visiting Nigarsbreen on the previous day, you can travel to Oslo. You have two options. Drive from Nigarsbreen across the Sognefjellet scenic route to Fossbergom, then Oslo, or drive back to Søgndalsfjora, then follow routes 52, then seven back to Oslo via Hemsedal.

Option 3: Stay in each location for one night instead of two. This way, you can squeeze this itinerary into seven days. This is a good option if you are not hiking and want to see the main sights.

Option 4: Choose a different starting point. You don’t have to start your road trip in Oslo. Bergen or Ålesund are other great cities where you can start your tour around Norway. They are much closer to the Fjords, meaning less driving time.
