Cengia Gabriella combo is one of the most challenging routes I have done in the Dolomites. The best option for an overnight stay is Rifugio Carducci, which lies approximately two-thirds of the way. Rifugio Zsigmondy is another 1 hour from Carducci and two hours away from the finish line. If you plan to start late on day one, stay in Rifugio Berti instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#48bda336\"><strong>TIP:<\/strong> If you have never stayed in an alpine hut, here is <a href=\"https:\/\/inafarawayland.com\/mountain-huts-in-the-dolomites-info\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"641\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">everything you should know beforehand<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around the halfway point is a tiny alpine bivouac (Bivacco Battaglion Cadore). It is visible along the route but requires a slight 15-minute detour. If you want to stay there overnight, you must bring enough food, water, and a sleeping bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All huts and the bivouac are marked on the map. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#48bda336\"><strong>TIP:<\/strong> Via ferratas Roghel &amp; Cengia Gabriella connect excellently with other via ferratas in the area.
