Instead of having the view of The Remarkables, you\u2019ll be directly underneath them. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s one of those places where you find yourself thinking how nice it would be to own a house here. Sigh&#8230;one day when I hit the jackpot in a lottery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The little lake right by the golf clubhouse creates&nbsp;<strong>stunning reflections<\/strong>&nbsp;of the surrounding mountains on a windless day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:70px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cc-m-header-11362343199\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Queenstown_Hill\"><\/span>5. The lights of the city shimmering below snow-capped peaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s definitely one of my choices for the most photogenic spots. Be warned though, a lot of other photography enthusiasts may think the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to escape the crowds, walk for another 10-15 minutes uphill, past the luge and forest until you get to a clearing where the paragliders take off. You will find yourself in a whole different world with hardly anywhere else in sight!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:70px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cc-m-header-11362347499\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7_Lake_Hayes\"><\/span>7. On a still day, you can expect some&nbsp;<strong>reflections of the surrounding mountains.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you happen to be in the area during autumn, the trees along the lakeshore turn into beautiful shades of yellow and red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morning fog on a cold morning is also not uncommon during this time of the year. If you drive over Crown Range Road, one of&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/inafarawayland.com\/most-scenic-drives-in-new-zealand\/\">the most scenic roads in New Zealand<\/a><\/strong>, you&#8217;ll go past this lake.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:70px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cc-m-header-11362348099\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"8_Moke_Lake\"><\/span>8.
